CAUSE Program Coordinator, B.S. Applied Science from Miami University
Jean joined the department in October of 2005 after 11 years at
Kenyon College as an administrative assistant, grant coordinator
and event planner. Mom of two college students and a chocolate
Labrador, she enjoys cooking, reading, and travel.

If you want to do something different in the classroom, I want to
help you "Do Something Great". I have worked on projects ranging
from classroom/furniture design to web sites. I have three beautiful
children (currently 3 yrs, 2 yrs and 1yr), a great husband, two dogs
and a cat. In my spare time I enjoy...who am I kidding I don't have
any spare time.
JUSTIN SLAUSON
Systems Developer/Engineer, Research Web Programmer.
Mr. Slauson has experience with a multitude of programming
languages, databases and operating systems. In his spare time
he is a motorcyclist, skier, and musician proficient on seven
musical instruments.
BRIAN SMITH

State, 1992, 1997.
Mr. Smith has experience using Unix on various platforms, Windows,
and Macintosh. His computing interests lie in system administration,
C programming, games, and operating systems. Other academic interests
include French, Spanish, philosophy, literature and history.

Ms. Van Dyke has a background in academic
advising and student affairs. In her free time, she enjoys knitting,
reading, gaming, and spending time with her pets and loved ones.

JACKIE MILLER
Auxiliary Assistant Professor/Program Specialist, Ph.D., Statistics
Education, Ohio State, 2000.
Dr. Miller returned to Ohio State in July 2003 after three years
teaching at Drury University in Springfield, MO. While she loved her
position at Drury, Dr. Miller felt that it was time to return home
and to Ohio State. Dr. Miller is quite active in the statistics
education comminuty and is involved in stat ed activities at the
national level. Non-academic interests include working out, rowing,
biking, reading, movies, and, of course, her dogs.
DEBORAH RUMSEY
Statistics Education Specialist / Auxiliary Faculty
Dr. Deborah Rumsey is a Fellow of the American Statistical
Association. Her area of specialty is statistics education. Her
particular interests include immersive learning environment
design, undergraduate curriculum development, and teacher
training and support. Dr. Rumsey is the author of the books
"Statistics for Dummies", "Statistics Workbook for Dummies" and
"Probability for Dummies". She is the Program Chair and Conference
Designer for USCOTS, the United States Conference on Teaching
Statistics. Dr. Rumsey is the Associate Director for Outreach of
CAUSE, the Consortium for the Advancement of Undergraduate Statistics
Education. She enjoys her family, fishing, driving tractors, and
Ohio State Buckeye Football (not necessarily in that order).

CHRISTOPHER HOLLOMAN
Director, Statistical Consulting Service.
Dr. Holloman's primary responsibilities within the SCS include
mentoring graduate students performing statistical analyses
and assisting university researchers and external clients in
the planning, development, execution, and analysis of scientific
experiments. His research interests include Bayesian Statistics,
spatial modeling, and statistical computing.
