Graduating Seniors

Graduating seniors will be given priority scheduling in Add or Section Changes if appropriate documentaion is provided (in the form of an advisor's letter on letterhead), which explains in detail the graduating senior's circumstances and what action is being requested.

Ohio State no longer gives separate final exams to graduating seniors. Thus, all students should take the regular final exam.

Unpaid/Unregistered Students

Department of Statistics rules regarding students not registered or with unpaid fees:

  1. If a student shows up as unregistered or as not having paid their fees on the second week roster then the TA will talk to them immediately and tell them that the problem has to be resolved before the results of any exams will be returned to them.

  2. The following week, the student will be contacted again to see if their problem has been resolved. If not, they will be reminded that they need to be on the roster by the time of the midterm, or their exam will not be returned. The day of the midterm, the Statistics Departemnt staff will provide the course coordinator with a list of students who have still not paid their fees and their midterms will not be returned until they have their fees cleared up.

  3. If the situation persists the student will not be given a grade in the course or the results of any exams.
