Homework: The seventh homework assignment is now posted in myStat135. It is due November 19th (Thursday lab sections) or November 20th (Friday lab sections).
Holiday office hours: The Help room will close at 2:30 p.m. on November 25th (the Wednesday before Thanksgiving).
Midterm Grades: Here is the five-number summary for the grades on the first midterm
Review Problems: Since November 11th was a university holiday, lab sections that met on Tues November 10th did not cover new material, but did have a review session. Here are the problems that were covered that day. Be sure to try to do them on your own before looking at these solutions.
Midterm: The second midterm is November 23rd from 5:30 p.m. to 6:18 p.m. in the room listed in the table below for your T.A. (same room as for midterm one) The test is closed book, but you may bring one page (both sides) of notes. You will also need a calculator and your picture ID. You can not use a cell phone as your calculator since no devices that communicate are allowed to be on during the exam. To help you study for the exam, you might want to try out this practice midterm. Please try this before looking at these solutions. If you can not make the time of the exam because of work or another class then be sure to e-mail the course coordinator immediately.
