The Program in Spatial
Statistics and Environmental Statistics (SSES) is sponsoring a
Discussion Group on Space-Time Data and Modeling during Spring
Quarter 2009. The format for the discussion group will be a mix of
tutorials, discussions of journal articles, and informal presentations
of participants' research. The research presentations will be for the
most part given by researchers from across campus who will share their

The Program in Spatial
Statistics and Environmental Statistics (SSES), along with
the Divisions of
Environmental Health
Sciences and Epidemiology
in the College of
Public Health (CPH) at OSU, are jointly organizing a weekly
seminar series on Environmental Exposure and Health Data (EEHD) during
Winter Quarter 2007. The format follows previous SSES seminar
series on Environmental Data in 2001 and 2002 and on Remote Sensing
Data in 2004. Presentations will be given
on issues concerning exposure to toxic substances in

organization of one of the Mathematical
Biosciences Institute (MBI) workshops for the
2005-2006 Scientific Program: Ecology and Evolution.
The workshop is on "Uncertainty in
Ecological Analysis", and will take place at OSU from April 3-6, 2006.
