Quarter on Statistics and Climate Change, Spring, 2008

The Program in Spatial Statistics and Environmental Sciences (SSES) is sponsoring a series of events on the role of statistics in climate change studies during Spring Quarter 2008. EEHD Seminar Series, Winter, 2007

The Program in Spatial Statistics and Environmental Sciences (SSES), along with the Divisions of Environmental Health Sciences and Epidemiology in the School of Public Health (SPH) at OSU, are jointly organizing a weekly seminar series on Environmental Exposure and Health Data (EEHD) during Winter Quarter 2007. The format follows previous SSES seminar series on Environmental Data in 2001 and 2002 and on Remote Sensing Data in 2004. Presentations will be given by OSU and Battelle scientists on issues related to exposure to toxic substances in environmental media and related human health effects.Click here for the most recent schedule. MBI Workshop on Uncertainty in Ecological Analysis, Spring, 2006

The Program in Spatial Statistics and Environmental Sciences is assisting in the organization of one of the Mathematical Biosciences Institute (MBI) workshops for the 2005-2006 Scientific Program: Ecology and Evolution. The workshop is on "Uncertainty in Ecological Analysis", and will take place at OSU from April 3-6, 2006. Click here for a description of the workshop.
