THE SSES PROGRAM
Remote-Sensing Data Seminar

This seminar is co-organized by Noel Cressie, Program in Spatial Statistics and Environmental Sciences, and Ken Jezek, Byrd Polar Research Center. Data are central to all scientific and engineering studies. Recent years have seen an explosion of data from airborne and spaceborne remote-sensing systems, and OSU researchers are leaders in their collection and exploitation. Scientists and engineers across the OSU campus will come together weekly in Winter 2004 to present and discuss remote sensing, remote-sensing data, collection techniques, and the scientific and engineering problems that motivated the data's collection. Refreshments will be provided at 12:00 before the seminar and all interested are welcome. If you intend to come, please RSVP to sses@stat.osu.edu, so we have enough refreshments. We hope to see you there.
