Shili Lin's research interests are in statistical genetics, genetic epidemiology, and Bioinformatics. In addition to methodological research, she has been working on collaborative projects with researchers at the Ohio State University and other universities in the United States, Asia, and Europe. Dr. Lin also teaches in the Summer Institute in Statistical Genetics at the University of Washington. Shili Lin is currently serving as Associate Editor for Statistical Applications in Genetics and Molecular Biology, Journal of Statistical Planning and Inference, and Biometrics. She also served as Associate Editor for Journal of the American Statistical Association in the past. Dr. Lin is a Fellow of the American Statistical Association (2004 group picture).
