Hi, I'm Candace Berrett. This is my webpage.

Statistical News of the Day: I told a friend a couple years ago that I thought it would be fun to use spatial statistics to analyze basketball shooting. Of course it's already been done, but it's still interesting to read about. Here's a google search with a few different papers.
Old News

A little about me:
  • I am in my third year at OSU as a Statistics PhD student.
  • I was a TA for Stat 145.
  • I received my B.S. in Actuarial Science (an emphasis of Statistics) from BYU.
  • When I'm not statisticalizing, you'll find me running on the Olentangy River Bike Path, shopping, eating cereal, playing the piano, making quilts, taking pictures, or laughing.

Research Interests:
Very generally, I am interested in spatial statistics, bayesian methodology, and statistics education.
I am currently working as a research assistant for The FLAMES Project.
