4/14 HW1 CORRECTION: For Problem 4, you should first find an expression for the required sample size (as a function of P and Q) so that the probability of estimating the true proportion within 10 percent of the true proportion is 95 percent. (Note: the "95 percent" was omitted from the original version of the question.) Then, assuming that the true proportion is somewhere between 30 percent and 70 percent, compute the required number of samples in order to be sure that the accuracy of the estimate is as desired for all 0.3 < P < 0.7. Let me know if this is unclear or if you have any questions.
