2/5   In the solutions to the practice midterm exam, the answer to Question #3 should state that the posterior variance of theta in the plots with beetles (OSU study) is greater than the posterior variance of theta in the plots without beetles (Michigan study).

2/4   Practice Midterm (given Winter Quarter 2007): exam, solutions

2/1   For the midterm exam next Thursday, Feb. 7th, you should bring a calculator, and you may bring a one-page (double-sided) sheet of notes. Table A from the textbook will be distributed with the exam.

2/1   Homework #3 must be turned in during class on Tuesday, Feb. 5th. We will not be able to return the assignments until after the midterm exam, so you should make a copy of your assignment if you would like to compare your answers to the solutions posted on the course website.
