Travel
One of these days there will be more stuff here. For the moment
it's more of a list to help me remember trips. Due to work, most of
these trips are short 1.5 to 2.5 week deals. So I haven't seen as much
as it seems like I've seen, see what I mean?
One of my travel goals is to visit every continent (yes, this
includes Antarctica). Currently I've been to: North America, Europe,
Asia, and Africa, and South America. (Though only bits of each.) One of
my favorite places in the world is Paris. (France for those of you who
live in Texas.)
I enjoy driving with no particular destination in mind. This is the
sort of traveling I most do, a couple of recent vactions have mainly
been driving. To count a state as visited I have to drive at least 25
miles in and get out and do something. Airports don't count, otherwise
I've been a lot more places!
I only list trips here where I was doing at least some tourist
stuff, so upteen trips to Michigan to see family don't count. Oh,
and sorry to the Canadians, I'm split as to whether Canada goes under
foreign, especially if it's rolled up as part of a US trip. Mexico is
not foreign for a day trip. I guess I need a plane ride for something
to count as foreign. Trips are only listed here if I remember a decent
bit of them. Also, most of the photos were taken by me, the
ones older than 1998, probably by travelling companions.
