CHRIS HANS
Assistant Professor; Ph.D., Duke University, 2005. My research interests are generally focused on Bayesian methodology and associated computation. Among my main areas of current research are problems of variable selection and model uncertainty in contexts of regression, prediction and complex multivariate modeling with many variables. Relevant modeling and computational issues include specification of prior distributions for model spaces and stochastic search and MCMC methods for exploring model spaces with collinear covariates. Additionally I work on developing parallel computing methods for high dimensional models. |
