Statistics Projector/Laptop Scheduler SystemTo sign out either the projector or laptop or both, use the online scheduler at: OSU Statistics Scheduler Currently available are two laptops, two projectors, and a mobile classroom cart which has a projector and laptop with it. The cart's wheels allow it to move around CH/MA/MT/EA but not really down the street. Note: Signout items are picked up from the main office staff. The cart is still stored with the support staff. The support staff are generally around Cockins during normal University hours. However, if no one is in when you need to pick up the cart, please get a key from the main office staff. First Use: RegisterIf you haven't used the scheduler before you will have to create an account on it. Click the Click here to register link on the scheduler's man page. Enter the information asked for. Items with an * are required. Do NOT use your unix or e-mail password for the password, as this is not as secure. You can use any e-mail address, however your stat e-mail is preferred as that easily identifies you. Once registered you will receive an e-mail confirming your activation, and the scheduler will take you to the main page Using the Scheduler: My Control PanelFrom the main status page (called My Control Panel) there are several categories: My Announcements is where any announcements would be. My Reservations Shows what active reservations you have. The columns can be sorted by clicking the [-] or [+] buttons. My Permissions lists the resources you are allowed to schedule. Even if you are not allowed to reserve a resource, you can still see its schedulein the calendar. My Quick Links is a collection of common tasks:
You can return to this page at anytime by clicking My Control Panel at the top. Using the Scheduler: Online SchedulerTo schedule an item, select Go to the Online Scheduler. This will take you into a graphical calendar, with the current week's days displayed as a grid. Items that can be reserved are dark blue. Items that are not permitted to reserve, or on past days are grey. Different blocks of color denote the status of reservations. The blocks or any reservation can be clicked on to get the information about a certain reservation. To reserve an item, click on the item name, on a day in the future. A window will pop-up, and in in you can select the times you need it for that day. There is also an option to repeat the reservation up to a certain date. Information can be entered into the Summary box, if you want to provide status for others, for example 'in CH212'. When finished click the Save button. A confirmation will be e-mailed to you. Date navigation can be: clicking on the dates in the clendars at the top, clicking on Prev Week or Next Week at the bottom, or entering a date and clicking on Jump To Date. If you need more than one item, separate reservations will have to be entered for each. Revisited: My Control PanelNow that you have a reservation you can return to My Control Panel by clicking the link at the top.
From the control panel reservations can modified or deleted. Etiquette:Don't reserve items for very long times. Do reserve enough time to pick up, test, and return the item. Don't make repeating reservations for longer than the current quarter. Delete reservations that are no longer needed. We do monitor the system, and abuse will result in loss of privilege.
